One instance is @TurkeyRelief, which joined Twitter in January, has simply 31 followers, and touts for donations by way of PayPal. The PayPal account has thus far acquired US$900 in donations. However that features $500 from the creator of the web page, who donated to their very own trigger. Mr Sharma says that is “to make the fundraiser seem genuine”.
